Spare parts are component parts of a complex product, namely a product made of different components, used to repair or restore the original appearance of that product. Examples generally refer to car body panels, bumpers, and windscreens, as a motor vehicle is certainly the most important complex product. Spare parts, however, also include components of household devices, electronic goods, as well as cartridges, pen refills, blades of razors, and so on.
