IEEM SCHOLARSHIP (exclusively to new applicants to the MSSEUS Programme 2026/2027)
The Institute of European Studies of Macau (IEEM) awards a grant of Mop74,000, which includes a Grant of Mop50,000 and Teaching Assistantship to the coordination of the European Studies Programme of Mop24,000 for 6 months) to a high-calibre candidate in the Master of Social Sciences in European Studies Programme. It is open for those who have completed the whole process with the application system of the University of Macau, taking the MSSEUS as their first choice. Interested parties can turn in the following documents in English simultaneously to both emails ieemmes@ieem.org.mo and ieem@macau.ctm.net
1) A cover letter addressing to the President of IEEM to convey your qualifications, specifying your Application Number after all required documents submitted and procedures completed with the University of Macau’s student recruitment system.
2) Curriculum Vitae.
3) Two recommendation letters.
The subject of the email shall be written as “Application for IEEM Scholarship 2026/2027”, addressing to the Coordinator of the Programme. The grant will be released in October after all registration procedures are finished at campus. The deadline of application is 13:00 on 3rd March 2026.
TEACHING ASSISTANTSHIPS
The recruitment notice of such fellowships, together with the posts offered by other academic units, will be sent to your University of Macau email-boxes usually in the first half of August and January.
INTERNSHIP PROGRAMME IN EUROPE
Our Institute also invites outstanding students and provides opportunities and financial supports for internships and as cultural exchange at European institution during their second year of study. An internship report is compulsory after returning from Europe.
EXTRA CURRICULAR ACTIVITIES
There are also lots of activities no matter hosted or jointly organized by IEEM like the Macau Model European Union (first edition in 2013), International Knowledge Contest (first edition in 2010), European language course, Jean Monnet seminar series, other talks and seminars for learning, enjoyment and building social networks.
