An economic undertaking consists of heterogeneous resources: human, inancial, material and intellectual. As part of the intellectual resources, trade secrets nowadays represent undertakings’ most valuable assets.2 Different economic reasons explain this success: the absence of any administrative formality coupled with the possibility of immediate commercial exploitation, a very broad scope eventually able to include new forms of innovation and a potentially timely unrestrictive competitive advantage are only a few of them.
